Stylish blog....!

Hm. Does that mean I should dust? Mop? Fix the place up??  :)

Thanks to Erika for a really fun Stylish Blogger award!

To accept this Stylish Blog Award, I must do the following:
1. Thank and link back to the person who awarded me this award :)
2. Share 8 things about yourself
3. Pay it forward to 8 bloggers that you have recently discovered
4. Contact those bloggers and tell them about their awards

Eight things about me? Hm.

1. I'm a crazy dawg lady....I've been doing dog rescue for almost 11 years now.
2. Despite the fact that it's obvious I like schnauzers....I'm also really fond of shih tzus, and goldie treebers. :)
3. I'm a 'puter geek - I work in IT security, and probably have more computers than some small offices.
4. I'm addicted to electronic cutters. I have a Gazelle, a Pazzles, a Cricut, and a Slice. And I used to have a Wishblade. The Gazelle is my favorite, tho.
5. I hoard paper. I have (mumble) Cropper Hopper vertical storage containers, full.
6. I probably have more ribbon than some small stores.
7. My other occasionally hobbies are crochet, and quilting...I learned how to crochet when I was about 5!
8. When I started fostering schnauzers, I learned how to groom dogs. While I'm not good enough to do it for $$, it is fun! (The wisdom of having a houseful of dogs that need haircuts is debatable...)

Thanks, Erika! That was fun. :)

Now. Eight faves...

Thanks for reading! :)

Blog awards?!??! :)

Yay! This is fun....

I got a blog award from Patricia!!! Go check it out, guys, her stuff is adorable. :)

So, here's what I have to do...and what you have to do to get this award for yourself!

There are a couple of conditions for the award:You have been TAGGED and want to participate. Then create a post where you post the 'LOVE BLOG' image. You should also blog the persons link that gave you the award and inform her/him that you accept the award. You can then choose 3 - 5 favourite blogs which you also link in your post, then each blogger will inform you that they have been tagged.

Please note: The aim of this action is that we bring unknown, good blogs to light, so it is probably best to choose great blogs that are just starting out or who don't have a lot of followers. Not a requirement...just a suggestion!

Now here is the hardest part of the requirements...picking the blogs to pass the award on to! Some of my faves...

Thanks again to Patricia!

Happy Friday! Friends with Flair, and a giveaway!!!

TGIF!!!! :) Hopefully, you're coming here from the Unity blog. If not, head over there to go down the whole list of Friends with Fair!

Something a bit different this week. There's an organization in PA called...Dogs Deserve Better. Their mission is to stop the chaining and tethering of dogs outside. To me, if you want a yard ornament, go buy a statue...don't put a living, breathing creature out there!

Well, DDB does a yearly campaign...Have a Heart for Chained Dogs. DDB collects addresses of homes with chained, penned, or tethered "outside dogs", and mails them handmade Valentines, treat coupons, and a brochure with information.

I have one of very favorite Suzi Blu give away!!

What do you have to do to win this? Simple. Do something for DDB. Leave me a comment with what you're going to do, and a way to contact you.

Send a Valentine, send treat coupons, submit addresses in your area...whatever you can think of. :) See the Have a Heart campaign page for ideas, too. It's an on your honor thing, I'm not going to check with them or anything...but the dogs will appreciate it!

Here's one of my Valentines:

Supplies used:

Unity - I Ruff You
Ippity - Here and Now - loooove that heart stamp!
My Mind's Eye paper
random cardstock
random ribbon - and I wish I knew where I got it, this is the last of it!
Memento ink
Bosskut Gazelle

Thanks for looking! :) Remember to look for the FWF blog with the blinkie, and win some Unity loot!
